Set of two pillows made with Batik fabric, a type of resist printing process in which wax is applied to the fabric in specific areas. When the wax hardens, the fabric is submerged in dye. The fabric is then boiled to remove the wax. After the wax has been removed the original background color of the fabric is made visible. The designs are traditional patterns and colors passed down through generations of artisans.
